UPHOLSTERY LEATHER

Kasino - corrected, finished leather

Finished leather has been dyed throughout and the grain corrected slightly. After that it has been finished with layers of pigment colour to make the leather durable. Because of the colour layer the pores of the leather have been coated and the breathability is not as good as in semi-aniline leathers. Kasino is economic basic leather for home furnishings.

After dyeing, the grain of semi-aniline leathers (Sargas, Soft, Tundra and Venice) have been sprayed or printed with a thin translucent layer of colour to even out the colour fluctuations in dyeing throughout. Semi-aniline leather will not be patinated in use like genuine aniline leather .

Due to a light pigment layer the leather is durable, but the natural grain is shown. That is why the leather is breathable and comfortable to sit.

The classification for semi-aniline leather approves only a few healed scars and insect bites, so the hides have to meet higher requirements than average raw material.

Capri
Fine-grained, soft, shiny or slightly matted leather for boots, flats and casual shoes.
